How it is used
Shiloh Bauer's lawful basis is legitimate interests: running this site, answering enquiries and quoting for the work, and keeping the form working and free of spam. You need not send anything, but a reply needs the required fields. A submission can be discarded without reaching her, while the page still reports it as sent.
If a production company commissions her, she also relies on legitimate interests for agreeing the commission, carrying it out, invoicing for it and keeping a record of it. This covers the person who signs the deal memo, the people named in invoices, the people she writes to while the work is done, and the writers named on the cue sheet the production sends afterwards. For her tax records, such as invoices, the basis is legal obligation.
Your right to object
You can object to this use of your information at any time, except for tax records, by writing to the address above.
Who else sees it
Cloudflare hosts the site, logs your IP address and approximate location with each request, and runs the form's code, which reads each enquiry to relay it. Neither the form's code nor Cloudflare's logs keep what you write. Resend sends your enquiry to her and keeps a copy. Spacemail holds her mailbox. All three process data in the United States: Cloudflare and Resend under the UK-US data bridge, Spacemail under clauses the UK no longer recognises. Nothing is sold, and nothing is used for marketing.
How long it is kept
An enquiry that leads to work is kept until six years after the contract ends; one that does not is deleted after twelve months. She keeps tax records as long as HMRC requires, normally five years from the 31 January after their tax year. Resend keeps its copy for 30 days, and in backups for up to 7 more. Cloudflare keeps its logs for periods set by criteria in its privacy policy.

This site has no analytics. It sets no cookies and saves nothing about you on your device.
Your rights
Write to the address above to ask for a copy of your information, or for it to be corrected, erased or its use restricted. She cannot erase tax records. You can complain to Shiloh Bauer at the same address, or to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113.
